Our New House- Sorta!

Hi everybody!

Well, as many of you know, Nate and I are building a new home in Clermont, FL. It's a long way off from being complete, but I wanted to share what we know so far. We're moving over to Clermont because of the lifestyle we will be able to have over there. It's a very outdoor-sy community with lots of lakes, many miles of bike trails, and several small old Florida towns. Inca will be able to take long walks- as far as his husky fur will let him go in this heat anyway!

Since we both loved cycling when we lived in Tampa we were thrilled to be able to get back into it. To the west of our new home is at least 12 miles of bike trails that weave from the town of Minneola through downtown Clermont, past our new home, and will soon connect into the 22-mile West Orange Trail. West Orange is currently being expanded to 30 miles and will one day connect with the trail in Minneola, as well. So far, Nate and I have only been able to clock about 10-miles each way, but we are looking forward to exploring the rest!

Our new house isn't even close to being started yet (a water main break has pushed back construction another month or so), but here are some pictures from a house in progress (This is a neighborhood close to our current house- not our new one).
