End of Another Chapter?

I cannot believe it has been over a month since my lost post! This month has been a complete blur! It was both exhausting and rewarding to work so intently. We did finish our project in time, but I think our team took a little damage along the way. I guess immense stress can take down even the most well suited of co-workers. Even though we got our project done in record time, within budget, and with remarkably few errors, it still remains to be seen if they will renew our contract. I have been looking furiously for another job. If our contract is not renewed then I will be out on the street, but even if it isn't, my time has come to move on. Hopefully a job will pan out in the next couple of weeks and it won't really matter what happens with our contract! It would be a great relief to finally move on. The Florida Center is an amazing place to work, but it is meant to only be a starting point for each of us as we start our careers.

In other news: the new house is finished! It is so amazing and I can't wait to move in! Unfortunately the current house has not yet sold, but we have had a few people interested- so keep your fingers crossed!!!

Our best friend Mark has been visiting us this weekend. He has been here since Thursday and I STILL can't believe he is here!! We haven't seen him since our wedding three years ago so we have been having a knock down, drag out blast! More to come on this weekend's antics in my next post!!

Oh! And the best news of the weekend..... Nate and I finally got a king-size bed! It is HUGE!! And sooooo soft!! Last night was the first night I haven't been punched, stabbed, kicked, or bounced out of bed EVER! WHOO HOO!!
