Fall

I love this time of year in Florida. The weather is perfect! During the week it is warm, and on the weekend it is cool. Last weekend we had the windows open all day. This house gets great air flow, so I've enjoyed opening up even when it's a little warm. The animals are in heaven! After the first couple of days of being disoriented they seemed to realized they really liked their new digs. Thomas has stopped yelping at night (something he only did after we moved to Orlando) and Inca prances every afternoon before his daily walk.

As if we didn't already love our new house and neighborhood enough, we've had a few bonuses drop in over the last couple of weeks. We have a family of sandhill cranes that mosey through the backyard once a week (and you know how much I LOVE my 'babies' as I like to call them.) And Nate caught a lightning bug on the porch the other night. Absolute joy was the only thing on his face! Our neighbors all seem to be great, a huge bonus after the last neighborhood!

Hopefully in the next couple of weeks we'll get things unpacked enough that I can take some pictures to show you guys our knew 'hood.

And you know what else is great about fall? New TV shows! Nate and I have really fallen in love with a couple of new ones, so hopefully we haven't doomed them to cancellation! Our new favorites? Heros and Men in Trees. We accidentally watched the first episode of Men in Trees and were instantly hooked. It's actually one of the shows we watch right away (we have a bad habit of letting shows accumulate on the TiVo and watching them marathon style.) But it's great to have a light, fun show that's just fun for both of us to watch. We are now also completely hooked on Heros. It's like Lost's first season on crack. Its too much fun and if you haven't seen it yet, then go right now! It's probably online.

As for the returning favorites, Grey's Anatomy is still great, Lost is a bit disappointing, Desperate Housewives is ok, and Gilmore Girls still isn't up to speed with it's new writing team (a tragic disgrace to television).

So what do you all think of the new Fall season (and I mean both actual Fall and TV Fall)?

Hope you are doing well! Check out the pics below:
