It's Mind Bottling!
(That's a Will Ferrell reference) but, that's what X has been doing to my brain lately! His changes are just blowing me away. And this weekend it's like his brain just exploded in a thousand different directions. Here's the 8.5 month rundown: he's crawling all over every inch of our house, sitting on his own (which I think is the cutest thing!), waving (even cuter!), babbling DaDaDa and sometimes BaBaBa (notice he's NOT saying MaMa- for the one who has stayed up with him through his teething for the last month, but I'm not bitter.....), two teeth, pulling up (and bumping his head constantly), and he's an expert cat wrestler!
Our cat Thomas is the best, he lets Xander hug him, pull his hair, and hold him in head locks pretty much all he wants. Our dog Inca isn't as keen about playing with the baby. He loves X and is really great with him, but now that X can just crawl over and torture any time he wants, Inca has been shying away for super-baby. We broke down and put up gates, so at least Inca can completely escape from the little guy from time to time.
Part of the reason I haven't posted in a while is because we have been teething..... and teething.....and teething. It feels like it has been forever. I feel horrible for the little guy, he's had a horrible time with it, sleepless nights for weeks, and nothing seems to help except a good dose of Motrin. I can't lie, I am totally jealous and completely hate every mother who says to me "Oh, I didn't even know _______ was teething! One day they were just there!"
The other reason I haven't posted is because I have been cheating on my blog with a new photo website. It's so easy to put pictures and videos up..... I just kind of forget about blogging until someone points out that they have been waiting for a new installment! SORRY!
Nate's been very busy with the Primary coverage. With his truck out at the events even more companies are realizing PACSAT is on the east coast, now. So, we are hopeful he will be getting more work!
I'm so sleep deprived I think I'm 90% crazy, 10% insane. But, I don't know what else to do, so bye-bye sleep, hello miserable baby! After a month or so of this, his bottom teeth are in and it seems we have a few nights of rest before he starts on his top teeth..... so I'm savoring every minute of his brief happiness!

So glad you posted...was wondering how you were. I feel your sleeplessness as Karis has been teething for the last 3 months off and on. How do we keep going without sleep, night after night? X looks absolutely adorable!
