Cristy's First Job!

Much celebrating went on this past weekend because my little sister got her first job! It sounds like it will be a great place for her to get her start, learn about her business, and conquer the world (or something grand like that!). It is a small office in Tampa for a much larger marketing company called Katz. I know she is both thrilled and terrified, which is a healthy combination on your first job! We are so proud of her!

Nate and I (and therefore Xander) ventured down 'home' for the weekend to celebrate and relax. It was a great weekend! Where else can you spend the weekend in your swimsuit eating barbeque in the middle of winter, other that south Florida? There may not be tons of exciting things to do down in good old Cape Coma, but the relaxing is hard to beat!

Sabrina enjoyed taking care of me and talking to her future nephew, who is getting bigger everyday! I can't complain though, I have had a pretty great pregnancy, all in all. We are at 25 weeks now, only 104 days to go!! I guess the exciting part is that we have reached to the point in the pregnancy where modern medicine could keep my little man alive if he were needing to be born early. Hopefully come the end of May I will be groaning 'get him out of me!' but its still comforting information to have! Alexander and I have been charting our weight gain since the beginning and have been ecstatic to hit the bullseye week after week! That means he's growing and healthy, and I'm healthy and not overgrowing! Now the fun/painful process of buying baby stuff can begin!

Enjoy the pics, both belly shots I randomly took while cleaning the house before we had company over for the Superbowl. So, I guess that is me at 23 weeks 6 days. The others are of our new headboard and and Nate king of our pets, aka beastmaster. None of them are glamorous, but they are of us as we are at home! Love you all!
