Game Night
This is my only picture from my baby shower, and I love it!! It may be a poloroid, but I love having such a beautiful picture of my sisters and I on such a special day!
Tonight is game night, for the Gators that is. Ok, I'll admit it, its been a very long year of 'being supportive' for my husbands team while I watched mine crash and burn. I comfort myself with memories of how dominant my Noles were when I was a student and how completely awful the Gators were. Thats one of the fun parts of college sports, every four to five years every single player on the team is different, and therefore the team is completely different. The programs ebb and flow. One day it will be our turn again, but today is not that day. I will cheer for the Gators tonight in solidarity with my husband, and hopes that if they win tonight he will get a lot of overtime. I'm so happy for him, on long work days he sometimes is stuck in the middle of nowhere, but a lot of the time he is 'stuck' in the heart of watching history in the making.
Speaking of watching history in the making, Nate and I talked about it last night, and while there may be abundant video of the first few days of Xanders life, there will not be any video of his birth. I don't want to see that, and Nate just wants to experience it. So, for those who were wondering, no, there will not be a birthing video!
Despite his bulging disk, Nate and I picked up the nursery furniture this weekend, and he finished getting the walls of the nursery ready!!! See the pictures below!!
One Proud Papa!!

Lexy, The nursery looks great! Isn't it crazy how this nesting instinct takes over?! I haven't been able to stop working and cleaning around my house for a couple of months now. I am looking forward to seeing pictures of Xander!
